In every neighborhood Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop, you’ll find franchisees dedicated to the communities that surround our 2,700 U.S. locations. Through our initiatives, such as our Educational Outreach Programs and local store marketing efforts we are active participants in helping to make our neighborhoods a better place for everyone. Oreo® Funraiser for Local School – Los Banos, CA – September, 2007
Baskin-Robbins partnered with a sixth-grade class, at the Henry Miller Elementary school in Los Banos, California for a unique fundraising event that encouraged the students to create faux Oreo cookies using only paper plates and chocolate-brown-colored paint. The faux Oreos were on display at the Los Banos shop to promote a fundraising event for the school.
Cones Exchanged for Canned Goods – Salt Lake City, UT – August, 2007
In Salt Lake City, Utah, Baskin-Robbins partnered with local schools to offer free cones in exchange for canned food donations. Over 250 cans were collected and donated to the Utah Food Bank. Four other Salt Lake Valley, Utah stores also participated by partnering with local schools to benefit the food bank.
Boys & Girls Club – San Leandro, CA – July, 2007
Baskin-Robbins served up tons of fun to a group of very thankful children at the Boys & Girls Club of San Leandro, CA. Excited children lined up to get a free, homemade and personalized one-scoop sundaes, $2 gift certificates and flavor strips of their favorite flavors.
Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl
Scooper Bowl – Boston, MA – June, 2007
For the third year in a row, Baskin-Robbins franchisees, crew and corporate staff dished out over 15,000 scoops of ice cream for the 25th Annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl in June. The event, held in downtown Boston, is the nation’s largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival. Baskin-Robbins, along with 10 other ice cream companies, provided 55 different flavors and over 2,000 gallons of ice cream to visitors. The event helped raise over $250,000 for the Jimmy Fund, which supports cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
Funraiser Saves Dogs – Dothan, AL – May, 2007
Baskin-Robbins recently held fundraisers for two different local causes in Dothan, Alabama. The first fundraiser helped raise $400 for the Wild Rescue Society, and ten dogs were adopted that day as a result. The event was featured in the Dothan Eagle newspaper.
Award-Winning Customer Service – Manteca, CA – April, 2007
In Manteca, California, Baskin-Robbins was voted Best Ice Cream Shop and Best Customer Service Provider in a city-wide popular vote sponsored by the Manteca Chamber of Commerce. Normally the customer service award goes to a single individual, but so many of the Manteca store’s crew members were receiving votes that the Chamber decided to present the award to the whole team.
Returning Troops Find Free Ice Cream – Fort Hood, TX – February, 2007
To honor their great sacrifice and dedication to duty, Baskin-Robbins donated 10,000 scoops of ice cream in February to 4th Infantry Division troops returning from Iraq to Fort Hood, Texas. The ice cream was shared during a welcome home event at the army base.

Scooper Star Award
Scooper Star Rewards
Schools and other youth-focused organizations use this program as a simple and delicious way to reward their kids. Colorful award certificates include a detachable coupon for a free kid's cone. These rewards are primarily used to recognize children for academic achievement, outstanding attendance, extracurricular excellence and more.
Reading Rewards
Reading Rewards
This program gives special coupon certificates and bookmarks to schools, libraries and other organizations that support youth reading initiatives. Coupons for a free kid's cone are a tasty way to reward children for outstanding reading achievement.
Fun Raisers With Ice Cream
Ice Cream Social Funraisers
Through this program, organizations can raise hundreds of dollars in a couple hours through ice cream social fundraisers at their local Baskin-Robbins store.
